Flight TrainingWe provide competitively-priced training from private pilot through commercial multi engine. Our fleet of aircraft allows the ability to tailor your training to meet your goals and needs. We currently do not have a complex single engine aircraft on our fleet.
Even though, in some cases, we will provide what is considered "fast track training", we are not set up to provide housing for students. The time it will take to complete training towards a license or rating depends on many factors. One important factor is how well prepared the student will be upon arrival. Has he or she already obtained a student medical, is he ready to take the written test and how much time can be dedicated towards flight training? The weather in Hammond allows us to fly 12 months out of the year, but at times, we do have afternoon thunderstorms or winds that will make flying unsafe. In aviation, the weather should always be considered when planning flight training or flights.

International StudentsFly by Knight is operating under Part 141 and cannot issue M-20 visa for flight training nor any other visa for students.
We can only train holders of a green card or foreign students who have an L1, L2 or H1 visa. They would still need to get cleared for flight training with Homeland Security. More information about this can be found at: www.aopa.org/tsa_rule/ Before submitting a training request with TSA, Fly by Knight will need to have verified if you are eligible to receive training from us. We will not approve any training request from TSA unless we have confirmed that we can provide your flight training. Please email us with your information before submitting your training request with TSA. |
