Ground school

Classroom instruction prepares students to take and pass the FAA written exam. You will learn aerodynamics, aeronautical charts, aircraft systems, airspace, navigation, weather, weight and balance, and FAA rules and regulations. 100% of Fly By Knight ground school students pass the FAA written exam the first time. Ground school is a 6 week course totaling 36 hours and meets twice a week from 6-9 PM. The cost is $550.00. All materials are included.

Starting Dates:

Private Ground School: Starting January 23, 2012, Mondays and Thursdays

Instrument Ground School: Starting January 24, 2012, Tuesdays and Fridays

A La Carte Ground School

Feel like you need to brush up on Airspace but don't have the need to sit through the entire ground school. Perhaps you just need a review of performance charts or Cross Country Flight Planning.

We have listened to your requests and are now offering A La Carte Ground School for only $50 per session. Your $50 allows you to sit in on our scheduled 3 hour ground school for the evening with our regular ground students.
