Ground school
Classroom instruction prepares students to take and pass the FAA written exam. You will learn aerodynamics, aeronautical charts, aircraft systems, airspace, navigation, weather, weight and balance, and FAA rules and regulations. 100% of Fly By Knight ground school students pass the FAA written exam the first time. Ground school is a 6 week course totaling 36 hours and meets twice a week from 6-9 PM. The cost is $500.00. All materials are included.
